Before beginning your search for Charlotte area real estate, it is wise to
first contact a bank or mortgage broker. This is an opportunity to
shop for rates, to familiarize yourself with the various programs that may
suit your needs, and to help you decide how much home you can afford.
If you are worried about your credit history or salary, that's normal. However, don't assume that you can't get financing. There are many, many programs out there to get you into a home and I'll certainly assist you to the best of my abilities. After all, it doesn't cost you anything to speak with a mortgage person. And trust me, renting somewhere and paying THEIR mortgage does not compare to the feeling and financial rewards of owning your own home.
