It's a confusing question: Which real estate website do I use to search for homes in the Charlotte area?

I often speak with people who come to my real estate website and not long into the conversation, I’ll discover that they’ve been on,, Zillow, Trulia, etc.  Or, even more commonly, I’ll get an email from them wanting me to see a home they found on Zillow.  This always reminds me how confusing the internet can be for consumers looking for Charlotte homes for sale. 

I thought this would be a good place to clarify some things that you may or may not know and what to do about them. So here goes.

We love this time of year!

Easter's a special holiday here in the south for many reasons, but for us it's the perfect time to usher in SPRING! And after the winter we've all had, spring is more than welcome. We've already spotted daffodils blooming around town - won't be long before flip flops and tulips start popping up!

Charlotte does a great job of celebrating Easter, from family-friendly events to church-led festivals and egg hunts. Here are a few of our favorite Easter activities in and around Charlotte for 2015.

One of our colleagues was telling us a story the other day about moving with her cat when she was in her teens. The cat had, apparently, never been in a car before and spent the entire 15 minute drive in a near-catatonic state, drooling and foaming at the mouth, claws dug into the backseats of the car. Not exactly a great way to introduce the cat to its new “forever home” if you know what we mean.

Moving is already hard. There are so many things to keep track of and if you’ve got kids or it’s a long move there are already complications in place you’ve got think of.
