So, you’re ready (or almost ready!) to purchase a home?  Wondering what to do next?

Well, we like to keep things simple. First, Contact us. Don’t worry, we won’t bite or try to “sell” you. But we will ask you some questions about what you’re looking for, try and get to know you a little bit, and help educate you on the process, the area, the market, and anything else that might help. It’s our opinion that an informed buyer is a happy buyer. During our initial conversation, we’ll talk about whether you’ve spoken with a mortgage broker yet and/or started the mortgage pre-qualification process. If so, that’s great!  You have a head start. If not, we’re happy to recommend one of our preferred lenders who has proven to us time and again that they’re excellent at what they do. Once you've been pre-qualified (don’t worry, it’s an easy process), it’s time to start thinking about seeing some homes! Here’s where the real fun begins.

This first day together is important because in many cases, it’s the first time that we would have spent any time with each other and will be a great chance to make sure you feel comfortable with the process. It’s also helpful from a broker’s perspective because your comments will help us narrow down your likes and dislikes. It’ll be relaxed, fun, and a great learning experience even if you’re already a seasoned home buyer. Here’s what some of our past buyers have had to say about their experience working with us.

If we don’t find what you’re looking for on our first day out, we’ll simply regroup and schedule a time to go out again. Some buyers buy the first home they look at, some see dozens before they find “the one.” Depending on our time frame and how sure you are about what you’re looking for, there’s a good chance we’ll find the home you’d like to buy within the first several homes. Once we do, we’ll put together an Offer to Purchase and go from there. Curious about the entire home buying process? We’ll walk you through your home purchase every step of the way.
